Hogwarts Scarf -Beginners

Hi Everyone

So for my first pattern I'm going to make a Hogwarts scarf.
It's very easy and basic, but a must-have for all Potterheads.
And even when you're not all that into Harry Potter, It's still a beautiful scarf.
This is what it's going to look like

Of course as you can see this is a Hufflepuff scarf (PuffPride!!)
And the colors that I used here were Yellow (color A) and Black (color B)
For the other houses you're going to use:
Deep red (A) and yellow/gold (B) - Gryffindor
Royal blue (A) and grey/silver or bronze (B) - Ravenclaw
Dark green (A) and grey/silver (B) - Slytherin

What will you need?
5mm crochet hook
Yarn 2 colors (color A is your main colors, in the photo it is Yellow) (color B is your accent colors, in the photo it is Black)
Yarn needle
Something hard and flat (like cardboard)
scissors

So the pattern goes like this:
With color A
Chain 40 (or do 40 foundation double crochets)
rows 1-12: 40 double crochet, chain 2, turn
Change to color B
Row 13-14: 40 double crochet, chain 2, Turn
Change to color A
Row 15-16: 40 double crochet, chain 2, turn
Change to color B
Row 17-18: 40 double crochet, chain 2, turn
Change to color A
Repeat from row 1- 18.
Repeat 7 times and do 12 more rows of color A.

Tassels:
Grab your cardboard and make it as big as you want your tassels to be. Mine were about 15 cm.
Wrap your yarn about 10 times around that cardboard, slide it off, and cut it open.
Put a crochet hook trough a hole on the end of the scarf and pull your yarn through that hole (you now have a loop), put the ends of the tassels through that loop and pull on it. You have created a tassel.
Repeat this for other tassels. My tassels went : A B A B A B A B A (on both sides)

If you don't understand anything about what's written here, I also made a video explaining everything.
I'm sorry, it is a really long video but I tried to explain everything even for the people who don't know how to crochet, so I hope you understand.

If you have any questions, leave them below (or on the video) and I will answer them.

Happy crocheting!!!
