gotta catch 'em all - pokéball

Long time no see!!
It's been a while since I've made a blog/video.
But I'm back and this time I will show you how to make a pokéball.

You can use this pattern to make a pokéball (duh!)
But if you leave out the colorchanges you can use this pattern to make a simple crocheted ball.
That way you can use it to make a head for a amigurumi, a belly for a stuffed animal,... the possiblities are endless.
I hope you enjoy the pattern.

Basic Beanie

Hi everyone

Okay, so last time we made a scarf, but what's a scarf without a beanie. So this time we're making one. This way your look will be complete.
I've changed things up a bit and the pattern will be in a printer-friendly pfd-file.
There is also a video tutorial if you want some extra visible aid.
The video may be useful since the written pattern may be a bit confusing. It's the first time I've written a pattern like this.
Please let me know if the pattern is clear or not and what I can do to make it better.

the video:

The pattern is available on my ravelry:
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/basic-beanie-22

This is a basic beanie and can be used to make everything you can imagine. You can make it bigger or smaller by adding rows, or leaving some out. After a while there is a certain rythm to the pattern.
You can also use this pattern to make many many other beanies. In the picture below I've used the basic beanie pattern for all the beanies except for the Teemo one (the one in the right bottom corner). So you can see it's very versatile.

I hope you enjoy this pattern and have fun with it!!
